I accidentally spilled some water on my laptop (dell inspiron n5030) and when I tried to turn it on later, it wouldn't work and show error message 'hard drive disk not detected'. I reseated the hard drive (took it out and put it back in) and everything seems to work fine now, just that there are no wireless drivers anymore. In device manager under 'Network adapters' it only shows ethernet controller. I downloaded 'Dell Wireless WLAN 1501 Half Mini-Card (4313bgn) Driver' from the dell website and it is supposed to be compatible with my laptop and system(Windows 7 32-bit), but when I try to install it, a setup error message comes up saying 'no compatible hardware found. The software you are attempting to install is not supported on this system'. I also checked, wireless is enabled in the BIOS and the automatic wireless button on the keyboard (F2) is on. Does anyone know what the problem might be? Is it possible that something got damaged inside of the computer when the water got spilled and that's why I can't install it? I'm not very good with computers so any help would be very much appreciated.

Hi, I did a fresh install on my dell Ispirion n5010, and I haven't had any problems yet,the wifi, audio,webcam, and video are working correctly, the only thing missing is the bluetooth connection, but I don't really use bluetooth it, but if you want the driver check this fórum

and when downloading choose Windows 10 home 64 bit.

to do the fresh install I did the following(this will erase all your files and applications)

First download the ISO with the tool and burnt it to a DVD or USB
then do the update with the DVD (run the DVD inside Windows 7)
Later when you are updated check if Windows 10 is activated(this very important)

then just run the DVD on boot(from here you can format your Windows partition)
when it ask you for the Windows key, just skip it, because when the installation process is finish, Windows 10 license will be activated automatically, that's why is very important to do a update first

I have installed windows 10 succesfully with no problems. but the only problem i am having is with display driver. i cant connect to a projector. The display driver installed is Microsoft basic display driver and cant find support for this. please help.
